Boys and Dad headed west last week. Not much excitement other than a mechanical hiccup in Erie.
In Wisconsin they liked the store advertising "Fireworks and Cheese" across from the Walmart where they spent the night.
The highlight of those first few days however was the Spam Museum in Austin MN. Mom is sorry to have missed it, but apparently we now are well provisioned.
Two nights at Town and Country RV park outside of Minneapolis, enjoying the pool and waiting for Mom to arrive.
Mom had a lovely last night at home with an old friend who was in town for the night and kindly drove her to the airport in the AM.
In Minnesota we had the chance to visit with another old friend before heading west again.
We got as far as Wall, SD where we spent the night. Breakfast was Wall Drug's famous doughnuts and 5¢ coffee. The rest of the day was travelling, first in the rain, then zooming across 2 states to get to Cody, WY.
We plan to slow down through those states on the way back.
