After 3 flight changes due to weather in Chicago, Mom arrived at the St Louis airport only 1/2 hour later than planned.
The boys found Mom (eventually!) and we took a scenic drive around the famous arch and through some of the trendier neighborhoods. We picked up coffee at a very busy cafe and then came "home" to our lovely campsite.
Dad cooked us an excellent grilled chicken dinner which we ate under the stars.
Mom is thrilled to be with everyone again. It is also nice to see spring has arrived here with green grass and flowering trees everywhere.
Tomorrow morning we plan to visit the St Louis arch (it was too late today) and then start heading further south. On Thursday we will get together with our neice Susannah and we hope to visit the Laura Ingalls Wilder farm in Mansfield, Missouri.
